For the most part we’ve had a wonderful experience (I can’t say enough nice things about the office staff and Dr. Evan); however, I felt fairly disregarded by the assistant who my daughter had as we were leaving her most recent appointment. She’s still a believer in the tooth fairy (and I’m a wacky parent who has saved every single tooth from all my kids). She had a tooth come out with some work and when I asked about it I was simply told it was thrown away like it was no big deal. Pam was a huge help in convincing my daughter we could write the tooth fairy a note but that doesn’t help my feelings in this situation. I couldn’t say more about it in person without ruining the tooth fairy for my kids, but I definitely think it should have been handled with a lot more care. Or at least it could have been mentioned that if the tooth came out we wouldn’t get it.
