Am I too old for orthodontic care?

No, not at all. Today, roughly 1 in 4 orthodontic patients in the United States is an adult. If you have teeth, then you can benefit from orthodontic treatment. At Orthodontic Alliances, we offer a variety of services, so you can choose from different kinds of braces as well as clear aligners to improve your oral health and the appearance of your smile.

When should my child visit the orthodontist?

It is earlier than many people realize. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic checkup around the age of 7. Few patients need treatment at that age, but it can make a big difference for those who could benefit from preventive care or dentofacial orthopedics. Our doctors at Orthodontic Alliances want to do everything we can to give you and your loved ones straight, healthy, and attractive smiles.

Am I too old for braces?

Research estimates that at least 25 percent of adults could benefit from orthodontic treatment. The work we do is not limited by age. It is never too late to gain a healthier smile by straightening your teeth and aligning your jaw. Orthodontic treatment comes in many forms, from metal brackets and wires to clear aligners and everything in between, so there is likely a comfortable and convenient option for you no matter your age or preference.

Can you help with my TMJ pain?

Orthodontic Alliances has been a TMJ treatment-centered practice since the early 1980s, having successfully treated and helped over a thousand patients with TMJ and MPD (myofacial pain dysfunction). We continuously advance our education in this complex treatment area. Our in-house laboratory facilities allow us to quickly create the appliance needed for your treatment.

What is the quickest type of orthodontics you have for adults?

Orthodontic Alliances offers FAAB, or fast-acting adult braces. If you are uncomfortable with your smile, you are not free to show the world the real you. FAAB means you can have the smile you have always wanted in less than six months to a year. Your new smile will be ready for that next selfie moment or video conference. So whether your “social six” teeth are crowded, spaced too far apart, or have shifted since wearing braces, we will give you a new reason to smile.

Do you offer orthodontic care that doesn’t use metal?

Invisalign is the advanced way to straighten teeth and improve smiles. Using the latest technologies, Invisalign straightens your teeth without metal braces. This is done by using a series of comfortable clear plastic aligners that straighten the teeth.

How much does the initial consultation cost?

Our initial consultation is provided for free. A referral from your family dentist is not necessary for this comprehensive exam, which includes an oral exam, Panorex X-ray, and a consultation by the doctor.

Do you accept dental insurance?

We have extensive experience working with insurance companies. We work with all types of insurance policies and want to be sure you receive all the benefits your family is entitled to. We are also currently orthodontic network providers for over 20 insurance companies.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses custom-made aligners to move teeth. This is an alternative to the brackets and wires used with braces. The aligners are made to fit the teeth of the patients at various stages of the treatment process. Since they are made of clear plastic, they are a more discreet treatment option than braces. We can use Invisalign to correct a variety of alignment issues. Although they are not a good option for every patient, they can help many people who want to straighten their teeth.
